Broadly interested in expertise and creativity in complex, real-world domains, such as scientific discovery and engineering design. My primary methods are behavioral experiments and protocol analyses of naturalistic cognition. An important undercurrent to my research is an interest in supporting the acquisition and optimization of expertise and creativity in these domains.
